A walking treasure hunt around the village of Thurcaston raised \u00a373 for the Rotary Club of Leicester Novus.<\/p>\n

It started and finished at The Wheatsheaf pub, just over the road from the home of Jim and Sally Matthews who devised the quiz.<\/p>\n

Fourteen of their friends followed clues and all managed to find some answers, but Sally Matthews had to go and round up a couple of participants who declared themselves thoroughly lost.<\/p>\n

Following on from their success in a similar treasure hunt at Burton Overy a year or so ago, husband and wife team of Frazer and Carolyn Robson won the treasure, Ferrero Rocher chocolates wrapped appropriately in gold.<\/p>\n
