      The aim for the Rotary year 2018-2019 is to gain at least one new member. Membership is a responsibility every Rotarian must share. The challenge to every Novus member is to bring to a Rotary meeting, function or service project at least two potential members.<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n

      \n

      Retention is as important as recruitment. To retain existing and new members, we shall strive to hold meetings, visits and functions which will appeal to all members.<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      To retain new members, we will appoint a mentor\/buddy for each potential member. That mentoring will be in addition to that offered by the proposer and will last for a year after the member has joined our club<\/h4>\n

        We will plot a diverse programme of speakers, visits meals and activities maintaining where possible the pattern of Business (1st Thursday), Visit (2nd Thursday), Speaker (3rd Thursday) Meal (4th Thursday) Speaker\/Scatter (5th Thursday)<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n

        To achieve a programme that inspires and interests as many members and guests as possible, we invite members to suggest visits\/speakers (including offering themselves as speakers)<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n

        We will employ the Rotary calendar and invite District Rotarians to speak about their projects<\/h4>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
