One of the many service projects that Rotary clubs run is the Rotary Stars Award.

The aim is to award certificates and prizes to young people who demonstrate the attributes of good citizenship (and good scholarship).

For Novus, Secretary Pam Spokes runs this project each year with schools including Mellor Primary School in Leicester. Deputy Head teacher Asif Esat oversees the process by which a number of children are nominated for awards.
