The member who collected the box a day or two before the sisters provided the garden party lunch confirmed that two tea-bags which had been unpacked and left were stale and the tea was undrinkable. On the other hand, he reported that the biscuits were ‘soft’ but still tasty!
Those biscuits will not be offered when the club meets back at Thurmaston on Thursday, 09\/09\/2021 when our speaker will be author Gay Redstone. The meeting will be a ‘hybrid’ meeting with some members present in person and some attending via the conferencing program Zoom which the club has been using for the last 14 months.
