Many national and international charities\u00a0rely on the support of Rotary Clubs and Rotarians.<\/p>\n

Often, Rotarians will\u00a0hold events to raise money for charities and just as often, they will step in to help charities run their own events.<\/p>\n

Half a dozen members of the the Rotary Club of Leicester Novus stepped up to help Marie Curie Cancer Care\u00a0hold a bucket collection in the centre of Leicester.\u00a0Husband and wife Deepak and Sheema Karia, who\u00a0were interested in joining the club, also took part.<\/p>\n

On the same evening that Deepak and Sheema\u00a0were inducted into the Rotary club, it received certificates thanking club members for helping to raise more than \u00a3270.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
