Every spring hundreds of members from Rotary Clubs across the East Midlands assemble in lecture theatres at Loughborough University to hear inspiring speakers and discuss plans for the coming Rotary year, which starts on July 1 each year.
Among them this year were 10 members of Leicester Novus — more than half of the club. Pictured are Novus members (from right) Maya, Sarita, Jason, Pradeep and Channi.
The next step in preparing for the challenges ahead is for the members to meet at their own Club Assembly which will be held on Thursday, June 1.
Each of the delegates will report back from Loughborough and build a programme involving projects which will deliver on Rotary International’s theme for 2017-2018 Rotary: Making A Difference.
If you would like to know more about becoming a part of a global movement dedicated to giving Service Above Self by making a difference to your local community, please e-mail Rotary Club of Leicester Novus. We look forward to hearing from you.
