President Pradeep with the winners Frazer and Carolyn and their ‘treasure’
Eleven members took part in a walking treasure hunt around the picturesque village of Burton Overy.
They tackled 32 questions, most of which had been devised by Liz Gilbert, of the Inner Wheel Club of Oadby, who kindly allowed Jim Matthews and his wife Sally to re-deploy them to help raise just under £50 for Rotary Club of Leicester Novus projects.
Husband-and-wife team of Frazer and Carolyn Robson scored 30 points, five ahead of runners-up president Pradeep Popat working with Sarita Shah and Jason Chauhan.
President Pradeep presented the ‘treasure’ to the winners who kindly shared their prize — a bag of yellow mini chocolate eggs — with the other contestants over a delicious meal at The Bell Inn which had been the start and finish point of the walk.
