Once again, Mellor Primary School has linked with Novus Rotary to encourage and reward good citizenship by awarding some of its pupils with a Rotary Star award.
Teachers Asif and Amar, have put together a video reporting on the awards, which were overseen by Novus secretary Pam Spokes and narrated by one of the students.

Mellor is involved in the Rocket Round Leicester project. The children have designed a rocket which celebrates the school and Leicester. Over the last few weeks, the school has been tweeting snippets about the rocket . The children chose to draw Rotary Stars on the rocket which will be going on a 10-week trail across Leicester this summer. You can see more by following @mellorschool.
